It’s been over a year since I last updated my journal. A lot has happened since then. Its only nine more months until I graduate and will be a professional artist. I have grown a lot in my art. I’ve found new meanings and reasons to create.

My inspiration has been femininity, insecurity, beauty, and relationships. Being a woman in general. I’ve given the general woman the name of Eva, referring to the bible. When she took a bite of the apple, she opened her eyes, saw her own body and felt shame. Shame and insecurity. I find that an interesting place. Insecurity is a great part of life and one where beauty comes from. This insecurity is something I will try to isolate in my art and work with.

After I graduate I plan on moving to America, Kentucky for an undefined period of time so I can live with my boyfriend and make art there.
